Osmanl\u0131&#8217;n\u0131n sonlar\u0131ndan itibaren ba\u015flat\u0131lan soyk\u0131r\u0131m faaliyetleri, cumhuriyetin ba\u015flar\u0131nda s\u00fcreklilik kazand\u0131r\u0131larak g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze kadar s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr . II. Abd\u00fclhamid\u2019in &#8220;eritme&#8221; politikas\u0131ndan \u0130ttihat ve Terakki\u2019nin &#8220;T\u00fcrkle\u015ftirme&#8221; hedefline, Cumhuriyet\u2019in resmi asimilasyon ideolojisine kadar uzanan bu s\u00fcre\u00e7, K\u00fcrt halk\u0131n\u0131n kimlik ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn ortadan kald\u0131r\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir d\u00f6nemi ifade etmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Abd\u00fclhamid\u2019in &#8220;Eritme&#8221; politikas\u0131<\/p>\n<p>II. Abd\u00fclhamid\u2019in saltanat\u0131, K\u00fcrtlerin kimliklerini korumaya y\u00f6nelik her ad\u0131m\u0131n engellenmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir d\u00f6nemi ifade eder. &#8220;Kendi i\u00e7imizde yo\u011furup, eritip, kendimize mal etmemiz laz\u0131m&#8221; diyerek, asimilasyonun gerekli oldu\u011funa inan\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve bu do\u011frultuda \u00e7e\u015fitli ad\u0131mlar at\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu d\u00f6nemde, K\u00fcrtlerin geleneksel ya\u015fam bi\u00e7imlerine, diline ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc temsil eden her \u015feye tehdit olarak bak\u0131lm\u0131\u015f; K\u00fcrt\u00e7e konu\u015fmak, geleneksel k\u0131yafetler giymek yasaklanm\u0131\u015f, k\u00fclt\u00fcre dair \u00f6zellikler yok edilmek istenmi\u015ftir. T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin ideologlar\u0131ndan Ziya G\u00f6kalp, K\u00fcrtlerin a\u015firet yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 zay\u0131flatmak ve T\u00fcrk kimli\u011fine entegre etmek gerekti\u011fini savunmu\u015ftur. Bu d\u00f6nemde, T\u00fcrk\u00e7enin bask\u0131n bir dil olarak kabul edilmesi ve K\u00fcrt\u00e7enin yasaklanmas\u0131 gibi sert politikalar devreye girmi\u015ftir. K\u00fcrtlerin kimli\u011fini tan\u0131mayan bu uygulamalar, k\u00fclt\u00fcrel yap\u0131lar\u0131 tehdit eden bir s\u00fcrecin kap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 aralam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayn\u0131 zamanda 1915 Ermeni Soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda K\u00fcrtlerin ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerde n\u00fcfus m\u00fchendisli\u011fi politikalar\u0131 uygulanm\u0131\u015f, demografik yap\u0131 de\u011fi\u015ftirilerek K\u00fcrtlerin b\u00f6lgesel kontrol\u00fc zay\u0131flat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Cumhuriyet&#8217;in Resmi &#8220;Eritme&#8221; \u0130deolojisi<\/p>\n<p>Cumhuriyet\u2019in ilan\u0131yla birlikte, devletin K\u00fcrtlere y\u00f6nelik asimilasyon politikalar\u0131 daha sistematik ve resmi bir boyut kazanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 1925\u2019teki \u015eeyh Said direni\u015fi, K\u00fcrtlerin bask\u0131 alt\u0131na al\u0131nmas\u0131nda yeni bir d\u00f6nemin ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. \u015eark Islahat Plan\u0131, K\u00fcrtlerin k\u00fclt\u00fcrel, dilsel ve toplumsal yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n yok edilmesini ama\u00e7layan bir dizi d\u00fczenlemeyi i\u00e7ermektedir. T\u00fcrk kimli\u011finin \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131, K\u00fcrtlerin varl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 inkar etmekle e\u015fde\u011fer bir ad\u0131m olarak at\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u00fcrt\u00e7enin yasaklanmas\u0131, K\u00fcrt halk\u0131n\u0131n kendini ifade etmesinin \u00f6n\u00fcne ge\u00e7mek i\u00e7in uygulanan en temel stratejilerden birini olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur. Bu y\u0131llarda K\u00fcrtlerin halk oyunlar\u0131, giyim ku\u015famlar\u0131, sembolleri ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00f6\u011feleri tehdit olarak alg\u0131lanm\u0131\u015f ve yasaklanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Cumhuriyetin ilk y\u0131llar\u0131ndan g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fc kadar uzanan asimilasyon s\u00fcreci, dilden giyim ku\u015fam ve sanata kadar her alanda etkisini s\u00fcrd\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. K\u00fcrt\u00e7enin kamu alanlar\u0131nda yasaklanmas\u0131, geleneksel K\u00fcrt k\u0131yafetlerinin hor g\u00f6r\u00fclmesi ve K\u00fcrt kimli\u011finin ifade edilmesinin engellenmesi, y\u00fcz y\u0131ld\u0131r devam eden sistematik bir politikan\u0131n par\u00e7as\u0131d\u0131r.
